We give 1% of our profit, every year, to projects that meet people's most basic needs.
Not a campaign. Not a launch. It runs in the background of how the business works, the same way the systems we install run in the background of our clients' businesses. Members of B1G1 help change lives just by doing what they do at work every day.
How the giving actually works
We give through B1G1, a giving network that exists specifically to vet and route business contributions into projects on the ground. Every project on the platform goes through an 18-week review by an independent board. Most applicants are rejected.
The funding model is unusually direct. The money we give reaches the project. Nothing is taken out except the card processing charge. Membership fees cover B1G1's operations costs and it takes nothing off the giving. There is no overhead skim, no operating cut, no admin layer absorbing the contribution before it lands.
That is the reason we chose this route. It removes the usual question of where the money actually goes.

Four areas of basic need
B1G1 supports projects across all 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals. We chose to focus on four. They are the foundations everything else depends on. A child cannot learn if they are hungry. A family cannot escape poverty without clean water. Health and opportunity start here. By concentrating our giving on food, water, education and the relief of poverty, every contribution compounds in the same direction rather than spreading thin across causes that need depth, not breadth.
No Poverty
Direct support for people living without reliable income, shelter, or stability.
Zero Hunger
Meals and nutrition for families and children who would otherwise go without.
Education
Access to schooling, learning materials, and teachers in under-resourced communities.
Clean Water
Safe drinking water and basic sanitation where neither currently exists.
Members choose from a list of projects B1G1 has vetted through strict criteria to ensure their contributions make the greatest impact possible. Contributions then flow to those projects globally, wherever the need is greatest at the time of giving, rather than to any single region or partner.
The projects on the receiving end
Each project we fund is vetted by B1G1 and tracked through to completion. Locations shift as new projects are approved and existing ones complete.
